Pipes don't wait for daylight to fail, and our Ely dispatch team doesn't wait for morning to respond. Hirex Water Damage sends licensed technicians straight to your Ely address with extraction equipment already loaded and running.
Hirex Water Damage started because homeowners in Ely, MN kept telling us the same story: a national hotline picked up, put them on hold, and then subcontracted the job out to whoever was cheapest and closest. Every technician on our Ely roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Our crew leads carry IICRC water restoration certifications and have logged real hours on Category 1, 2, and 3 losses, so Water Damage Repair in Ely isn't a side service we tacked on β it's the reason the company exists. Full liability coverage and Ely, MN licensing back every job we take, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
We keep a stocked warehouse inside Ely, MN so equipment never has to be trucked in from another region, which is the difference between a 45-minute arrival and a next-day one.
Anyone in Ely who has had a supply line fail overnight knows the real cost isn't the leak itself, it's how long the standing water sits before someone with the right equipment arrives. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one Ely call at a time.
Not every leak announces itself with a flooded floor. A lot of the worst damage we see in Ely started small and got ignored for weeks. Here's what tells us a property needs professional attention rather than a mop and a fan:
Recognizing one of these signs early is the difference between a contained repair and a gutted room, so call our Ely team and get a straight answer on how urgent it is.
We size the Ely response to the actual damage β a single-room extraction gets a two-person crew, a commercial loss gets the full fleet β nothing gets a cookie-cutter response.
We arrive with submersible pumps and truck-mount extractors that get standing water out of a Ely property before it soaks deeper into the subfloor. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
Once water is out, we bring in commercial air movers and LGR dehumidifiers, positioned using psychrometric readings rather than guesswork, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
For Ely homeowners, that means drywall removal at the flood cut line, subfloor assessment, and content pack-out for anything that can be saved, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
Ely businesses and property managers get a dedicated project lead, after-hours crews, and equipment scaled to square footage rather than a single-crew response β we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
Blackwater losses in Ely get handled under strict Category 3 protocol: containment, PPE, antimicrobial application, and documented disposal of contaminated materials.
We apply antimicrobial treatment during every Ely drying job specifically to head off mold before it starts, and we'll flag any area that needs deeper remediation.
We quote the job before equipment gets plugged in, so there's no surprise line item buried in the final invoice.
Because our equipment cache sits inside Ely, MN, most Ely calls see a technician on-site in under 60 minutes.
We photograph and log every step specifically so your claim moves faster and you're not the one arguing with the insurance company.
If moisture readings aren't where they should be at the end of the job, we come back and keep drying at no extra charge.
Tell our Ely dispatcher what's happening β we'll ask a few quick questions to send the right equipment on the first trip.
A licensed technician heads to your Ely address with extraction and drying equipment already loaded.
Extraction happens immediately, followed by a moisture survey that tells us precisely where the drying equipment needs to go.
We don't close the file until the numbers confirm the structure is dry, and you leave with full photo and moisture documentation.
Every Ely job gets closed based on instrument readings, not a visual check, and we won't call it finished until the numbers say it's finished. If a callback shows lingering moisture within 30 days of a completed job, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
We put that guarantee directly on the Ely work order, not just in an ad. We try to send the original technician back for any follow-up so you're not re-explaining the job to someone new.

Most Ely dispatches are on-site within 60-90 minutes since our crews and equipment are based in-state, not flown or trucked in from elsewhere.
Upfront, written pricing is standard on every Ely job, not an add-on option.
Our Ely on-call rotation covers water extraction, drying, and blackwater cleanup any hour of the day or night.
Yes, we document everything with photos and moisture readings and can communicate directly with your adjuster.
Dryness is confirmed with instrument readings against a documented dry standard, not just by feeling the wall or carpet.
Blackwater and sewage response is a core part of what our Ely team does, not a job we sub out.
If it's safe, shut off the water source, move electronics and valuables away from the affected area, and avoid the space if standing water is near outlets.
We scale crews and equipment for commercial Ely accounts and assign a dedicated project lead for anything beyond a single unit.
Most Ely residential jobs dry out in 3 to 5 days depending on how much material got wet and how long it sat before extraction.
Mold isn't inevitable, but the window to prevent it is narrow, which is why we treat speed as part of the Ely service, not an upsell.
Our Ely guarantee covers a 30-day callback window β if moisture shows up again from the same loss, we come back free of charge.
See the zip codes and nearby cities listed below β our Ely crews cover that full radius.
Beyond Ely itself, our coverage extends across nearby zip codes, with additional Ely, MN crews available for large-scale or commercial losses. If your address falls inside or near Ely, a Hirex Water Damage crew can typically respond the same day.
